sql_version

The sql_version() function simply returns the version number of the database manager.

It accepts 2 optional parameters:

  1. $serveur,
  2. $option.

Usage:

  1. $x = sql_version();
  2. echo $x;
  3. // depending on the type of server, we might see:
  4. // for MySQL: 5.1.37-1ubuntu5.1
  5. // for SQLite2: 2.8.17
  6. // for SQLite3: 3.6.16
